Now to the About story some of you are looking for -- How Pacific NW Towels came to be.  

A gift from a friend while on vacation. That is where it started.  I tossed it in my backpack and darted off to catch my flight.  With several hours left on the freezing cold plane ride, I debated if I could convince myself to use one of the community airplane blankets.  Was I really that desperately cold? 

I opened my backpack & saw my bright pink Turkish towel. I pulled it out & thought well, this has to be better than the airplane blanket. This is where my mind was made up on the Turkish towel.  Not only was this not a smelly, germ ridden, shared blanket, it was the perfect towel-blanket thing I needed to sleep the rest of the flight home.

Fast forward two years and I am typing the "About" page for Pacific NW Towels.  I didn't ever think this is how the story of a simple gift would turn out.  With these Turkish towels, you can take them along when going to float the river or strap them to your backpack while out hiking.  Talking to family & friends about this great towel/blanket, I noticed there wasn't really any in our hometown.  This made me think of how my life long dream of selling towels could come to fruition.  Okay, okay, it made me realize I should get some of these towels so family, friends & other can have easy access to these truly versatile towels, blankets, scarf, sarong....or however you choose to use it!
